I know it is a little early, but Fall is coming with it’s crisp temperatures, clear sunny days, dry air and APPLES. So this soap is homage to that kind of weather.I cast it in Shea Butter, which is very kind to your skin, and colored it Pastel Green, remiscent of my favorite Granny Smith apples. Embedded in that matrix is a box of more Shea Butter soap striped in Earth Reds, like red apples, Pale Pink, Black, White and Medium Green. Each bar is a little different from the others, as you can see in the photos.

People have asked for Citronella soap all Spring, so I figure why not try it out. I made it yesterday and have it curing on the shelf for a few days. I obtained some Java Citronella EO and it is just what you would expect: lemony, but a little blunter, and with a clean aura. I will post it on my store site next week after it is cured and wrapped.
This is a brand new Mamoucha Soaps blog. While I have posted to Facebook, this is new to me. Soon, now that our last show is done until the end of August, I can publish soaps to the store, plan new ones, and write here.
Planning a new soap: actually I want to remake a recent soap that flew off my table at our Spring shows before I could offer it for sale online. |
