Sandalwood and Chestnut in Multicolored, and scented Glycerin and Shea Butter soap with free shipping to the Continental US
It’s tough to define Sandalwood. It is a little sweet smelling yet exotic and woodsy.
Sandalwood is used as a base for many Men’s fragrances. Chestnut is described as nutty but in this manifestation also has some vanilla and clove in it. Having said that, combinations of distinctive scents frequently yield more subtle and calm fragrances. Although the Sandalwood does predominate, this combination confirms that. It is calming and exotic and I like to think of it as “East meets West,” since Sandalwood is from the far east and Chestnut is from the American continent. I expect it will appeal to men as well as women, or anyone out there.
I cast it in subtle colors of brick, white, sage, tan and light rust, in glycerin and shea butter, (so kind to your skin). Contrast that with commercial soaps, which are solidified detergent, oh yes, for real. I always use cosmetic grade pigments, which are large molecules and do not penetrate your skin - these are skin safe. Dyes are small molecules that go right in and stain your skin and do who knows what else.
My soaps are always vegan and from sustainable sources and contain no detergent. I test them on my husband and friends and never on animals. My dog prefers to smell like dirt.
